Ms. Neal's legal defenses skillset also includes the representation of publicly traded and Fortune 500 companies with high deductible self-insured retention policies, large insureds in captive programs, as well as various PEO’s and staffing companies. She has developed risk management programs and litigation strategies designed to lower loss runs and thus, insurance expenses, litigation costs that had real world effects on her client's bottom line.
Jessica is a servant-leader practitioner, placing emphasis on client-focused customer service that harnesses her breadth and depth of knowledge in labor and employment law to obtain fast and practical solutions for her clients.
Outside the realm of specialized work for CIGA, Ms. Neal has handled a wide variety of claims including catastrophic injuries such as explosions, amputations, truck roll-over accidents, and traumatic brain injuries. On the employment side, she generally specializes in sexual harassment cases.
Jessica is also well versed in civil procedure in both state and federal court, as well as law and motion practice. She has written numerous successful motions to dismiss (demurrers) due to her very proactive approach to the defense of claims.
Originally from the Midwest, Ms. Neal obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude in 2007 from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. She was a member of the eleventh class of University Scholars and her degree was conferred with honors. She moved to California to attend law school in Sacramento at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law where she earned her law degree with distinction in 2011.
